the fairlight cmi was one of the first samplers/workstations. It came out in 1978
and were popular amongs musicians. Many popsong featured one in the 80s.
the vcs3 was the first european synthesizer.
used by many artists and bands like
roxy music, afx twin, portishead and many more
the LinnDrum was an early drummachine with prerecorded samples.
earlier drummachines used synthesis to produce the sounds.
The linndrum used samples of a real drumkit stored on a computerchip.
Artists such as
Prince, human league and many more featured one.

the cs1 is a budget version to the cs80/cs60 family of synth
its not as powerful as the bigger synths, but is portable and analog
it was releases in the 80s.
